It is a big news. Microsoft finally succeed melt hearts of Yahoo over their search engine together to beat the giant Google. Of course 10-year agreement with Yahoo will give new energy injection for Microsoft to realize their ambition to beat Google in the search engine market.
With Yahoo in the side, Microsoft expects more calm improve Bing, new search engine to pursue the lateness from Google, which control about 65 percent market share in the United States.
As Microsoft concentrated on the search site, Yahoo is expected to reduce concentration of Google in the ad sales on the Web.
“This agreement offers a million income to value Yahoo, our users and also the industry,” said Carol Bartz, chief executive Yahoo.
Of course that is not quite happy with this agreement is the CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer. “I am really excited. I have been saying this since 18 months ago. Consumers, advertisers and publishers will get a better service, and of course there will be a more challenging competition for Google if Microsoft and Yahoo team up in search engines.”
Antimonopoly regulator will review the agreement the two companies to ensure that this agreement will not harm the competition.
“While Microsoft and Yahoo awaiting approval from the government about their agreement, Google will likely continue to increase their search engine performance,” said Danny Sullivan, editor SearchEngineLand.
It seems the fight between the giants will be hot. Moreover, at this time to prepare the Google operating system to PC, which can threaten the existence of Microsoft Windows.
